The Primary Teachers’ Mathematics Association proudly welcomes Professor Constance Kamii to Ireland to speak to primary teachers about how children learn mathematics.

Constance Kamii is very well known in the United States for her Piagetian approach to thinking about learning mathematics and for her challenging insights into children’s acquisition of mathematical knowledge.  However, she is less well known in Europe.

Constance Kamii visits Mary Immaculate College of Education in Limerick
on Saturday, March 22nd 2003 from 9:30 to 4:30.
