Damian Cooke has taught Applied Mathematics and Mathematics in CBS High School, Clonmel since 1973. He has supported teachers and students by coordinating the Applied Mathematics page on the Scoilnet website. He has given in-service courses in Applied Mathematics to teachers at the summer Mathematics Schools organised by the IMTA in conjunction with the In-Career Development Unit of the Department of Education and Science. He is the Convenor for Applied Mathematics of the ASTI and represents the Association in matters relating to Applied Mathematics. He has marked the Leaving Certificate papers in Applied Mathematics, Higher and Ordinary level for many years. |
